WZBG is thrilled to welcome David Fisch to its Midday lineup, catch him weekdays 10am-3pm.
Radio Story: For the past 20 years, there’s a pretty good chance you’ve heard Fisch on the radio somewhere in
Connecticut. From New London to New Haven, Hartford to Springfield, Fisch has been a fixture on some
of Connecticut’s biggest and best radio stations. Fisch also spent a decade producing, writing and
creating content at ESPN; mostly with Colin Cowherd, Mike & Mike, Bob Valvano, and Scott Van Pelt. So
when he’s not on the radio playing music, he’ll talk sports with just about anyone who’ll listen. His
broadcasting career began in Philadelphia, spread through the mid-Atlantic & New England, and across
the country on satellite radio. However, there’s no place quite like his hometown of Moodus where he
grew up. Fisch is a proud graduate of Xavier High School and Villanova University, and he now lives in
Bristol with his wife, two boys, daughter, and dog Hattie.
Hobbies: The Boston Red Sox, skiing, vacationing in Aruba, and relaxing with his family at Bantam Lake
Little know fact about me: I hate condiments – all of them..YUCK! And, I had perfect attendance from
kindergarten until the day I graduated high school.
My two cents: You can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat animals and senior citizens.
